This poetic fable tells the story of Long Lyn Bings, a humble silkworm who spends his days spinning in darkness until he sees a glowing thread descending from heaven, a symbol of divine truth and love. Driven by wonder, he sets out to grasp it, enduring hardship, exhaustion, and pain as he climbs grass, bushes, trees, and mountains.

At the journey’s end, weary and unsure, he spins himself a cocoon to rest. When he awakens, he has been transformed into a moth, finally free to soar toward the light that once seemed unreachable. The thread, revealed as the connection between God and man, Christ Himself, guides him and others to heaven.
